‘Getting to know you’ with music and ‘food, glorious food’!
Would you like your group to meet each other in a fun, non-threatening way on the first night of a conference or get to know each other better while leveraging the power of music and enjoying a fabulous meal?

The ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Team Building Dinner uses ‘getting to know you’ games that encourage everyone to move around, meet and have a memorable, fun experience with lots of other people. Depending on your group size, each participant will be able to interact, play and have fun with more than 40 new people!

It’s fast-paced fun as you eat at a different table with different people for each course: appetizer, salad, main course and dessert. Each course features a table top game or exercise for everyone to do together that gets your team interacting and having fun while improving team skills.

Designed by Quixote Consulting founder Rob Fletcher, The ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Team Building Dinner is specifically designed for music-related team play and team networking. The ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Team Building Dinner encourages everyone to play together and network by leveraging people’s passion for music without anyone playing an instrument (unless they want to).

The ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Team Building Dinner connects people’s universal passion for music with your conference dinner in a fun, risk-free environment. No musical ability needed! And everyone can play, all at the same time, no matter how large your group (500 people? No problem!) or small (actually, if you have fewer than two people, we may have a problem).

Be Efficient with Your Meeting with Stealth Team building
Don’t think you have time for team building at your meeting? Think again! Every group needs to eat anyway. Here’s a great way to maximize your team’s precious time together.

The ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Dinner can be done in the restaurant of your choice (or we can help you choose), a banquet room of a hotel or even in different restaurants for each course. Our energetic and fun MC/facilitator leads the tabletop games and exercises, coordinates the changing of the tables and even works with the restaurant on the timing of the courses. Hosts for each table are also available at an additional cost. The ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Dinner is a great way to have fun, celebrate successes together or create a springboard of enthusiasm and energy for a meeting, off-site or executive retreat!

Here’s a Sampling of ‘Getting to Know You’ Networking Music Team Building

Dinner Challenges:

  • Almost Famous (icebreaker) – Learn about your team-mates’ surprising musical pasts and what famous band they would love to be in
  • What’s On Your Playlist? – Trade playlists and favorite music to listen to for different settings.
  • Team Playlist Build – Make a team playlist to support your next project!
  • Name That Tune – Teams guess the names of songs and the artists who sang them. Each team gets to guess the name of each song at the same time, which means everyone is involved and having fun from start to finish and there are lots of chances to win.
  • Name Your Band and Fill Out Your Contract Rider – Want only green M&Ms in the dressing room?
  • Finish That Tune – Did they get the next line right or didn’t they?
  • Kazorchetra – You’ll never forget Beethoven’s Ode to Joy played on an orchestra of…kazoos.
  • Junkyard Music Wars –  challenges teams to make extraordinary music out of ordinary junk. These creations can be anything from percussion and chorale works to rap to Stomp and Blue Man Group-like creations, combining music, dance, singing, and choreography.
  • The Ultimate Music Game (optional grand finale) Teams compete on a giant game board, answering music trivia and completing music-related challenges. What an exclamation point!

Got Customization
No problem, we love to customize the challenges and song choices! Do you have a specific theme you’re working with in your meeting? Communication, change, movement – these are just some of the themes past clients have asked for. What’s yours?
