The 300th post! Taking the time to celebrate and have fun

Happy Anniversary At Your Best! This is the 300th blog post. And in the spirit of the last few posts on pausing to celebrate and have fun, I’m doing just that. I wrote this post early and when I get it and read it, just like you are now, I’m committing to pause what I do and do two things.

First, take a few minutes to celebrate the energy, effort, play and work I’ve put into this blog. There have been well over 100,000 words written in here. This writing is clearly important to me. And it’s a beautiful feeling to be able to be so true over time to something that I value.

Second, leave my desk, seek out some fun and savor it.

Pausing to celebrate something and have fun is an act of courage that has the capacity to fundamentally shift the very fabric of our lives. It’s a simple act. And, simple acts are rarely easy. There’s fear to be faced. It helps to join with others to take those first steps.

I invite you to join me in celebrating what benefits this blog has given you so far, or any project that you’re a part of – work, family, personal. Celebrate what it gives you.

And, I invite you too, in this moment, to seek out some fun. Let’s toast to that!
